Swimrun Australia: Sydney East

Why this event?

A twist on the traditional run-swim-run. A harbour swim adventure like no other.

Sydney East is where swimrun was born in Australia, and for ocean swimmers, it’s pure magic. You’ll dive into a series of stunning harbour swims, from tucked-away beaches to open-water crossings, with the Harbour Bridge, Opera House, and South Head as your backdrop.

Each swim is short, scenic, and totally swimmable; no tough surf or tricky entries, just beautiful saltwater stretches linked by relaxed runs along national park trails, coastal paths, and rock platforms.

Whether you’re new to the sport or looking for a fresh way to experience Sydney’s iconic shoreline, this course is made for swimmers. Go solo or bring a mate, and soak up a salty adventure through the most breathtaking parts of the harbour.

Swim more, see more, smile more; right where swimrun began.
