Tamarama Surf Life Saving Club acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land, waters and community where we walk, live and work - the Gadigal people of the Eora nation. We value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, traditions, views and ways of life and pay our respects to Elders past and present. Tamarama's name originates from Gamma Gamma, an Indigenous word. It is believed that this word means ‘storm’.
