Migrant Beach Safety Day

Volunteers needed for November 26 Migrant Beach Safety Day
Volunteers are needed to help educate the Nepalese community through the club's next Migrant Beach Safety Day on Sunday, November 26. To session will be conducted between 10.30 am and 2 pm the session will include education on rips, swimming between the flags and safety on rock platforms, in collaboration with the Department of Primary Industries, followed by a BBQ lunch with the 80 participants. This session provides a terrific opportunity for members that have not been able to be involved in the past sessions that were conducted on a weekday to be involved.
You do not necessarily need to be a Lifesaver to volunteer if you are able to help with food preparation, food serving, set up and bump out we would love your help. The last migrant beach safety days have been a great success and very rewarding for both the volunteers and the migrants.
