We'll teach you some tips and tricks for being in the open water, what to think about what entering and exiting the surf, sighting in the open water, and also looking out for awesome marine life. For our experienced swimmers we can break into a couple of smaller groups depending on how far we want to swim. We always check conditions and adjust as needed on the day.

This is a social swim catering for those that can swim but are new to ocean swimming and for those that ocean swim regularly and want to come and join the most inclusive ocean swim group :) This is a trans inclusive event that means we welcome all trans and gender diverse identities. We always aim to provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive community.

We ask that before you sign up for this swim, you are confident that you can swim front-crawl/freestyle for 400m continuously in a pool for safety reasons. Whilst water safety will be provided on the day by our awesome surf life savers, this is not an official Surf Life Saving group and there is no insurance in the event of sustaining injury etc. Each swimmer has a personal responsibility to determine that they have the physical condition to enter into and complete a swim safely.
