Events & Venue Operations Manager
Tamarama Surf Life Saving Club | Tamarama, NSW

Tamarama Surf Life Saving Club is seeking a motivated Events & Venue Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our iconic beachfront clubhouse and lead the delivery of our growing venue hire program.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role combining venue operations, event management, client engagement, administration, and compliance within a unique, volunteer-led environment. You will play a key role in ensuring events are delivered safely and professionally, while balancing strong commercial outcomes with the Club’s community purpose of supporting lifesaving.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing clubhouse operations, maintenance coordination, and contractor engagement
  • Overseeing venue hire enquiries, bookings, and client relationships
  • Planning and delivering events, including staffing, logistics, and execution
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing, WHS, and Club governance requirements
  • Maintaining accurate financial, booking, and reporting systems

About you:
You bring experience in venue and event management, strong organisational and stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a community-focused environment.

Role details:

  • Full-time (38 hours per week), 1-year fixed-term contract (with potential to renew)
  • $85,000 + superannuation
  • Flexibility required, including evenings and weekends
  • Working With Children Check and National Police Check required
