Hall Hire

The clubhouse hall is available for hire. An excellent venue for your events in a superb location. Any enquiries should be forwarded to the club secretary on email. secretary@tamaramaslsc.com

The Tamarama SLSC Inc. hall is available for hire from 6.00pm till midnight sharp on weekends.

Our Rates of Hire

Our hire costs are: Night time hire- Security Deposit, refundable within two days of function if no damage to club facilities - $500.00 Unfortunately we do not cater for any parties between 16 and 21 year old parties. Hall hire, inclusive of GST - $660.00 Cleaning and Disposal costs - $150.00

Day time hire- Price on application however the Security Deposit and Cleaning and Disposal Fee will apply.

There is a tiered rate for members of the club, community groups and residents of Tamarama on application.

Booking the venue Please confirm the availability of the hall prior to making a booking. Please email the Secretary on secretary@tamaramaslsc.com

If you wish to proceed, send the confirmation that you have read these terms and conditions (at bottom) and a cheque or money order made payable to “Tamarama SLSC Inc.” to:

We also accept credit card bookings however please do this by phone.

Security Deposit ($500) is due on booking. Balance of monies ($810.00) is due one month prior to function. Cancellation fees may apply.

Catering and Bar You are required to provide all your own catering requisites. Our liqour licence is limited and does not cover your private hire of the venue. You cannot sell alcohol on the premises unless your caterer has the relevant license to do so. We recommend that you utilise one of our recommended caterers.

There is not a kitchen currently available for function catering and your caterers must bring the required equipment.

The BBQ can be made available on request.

Starting and Finishing Reasonable access can be provided just prior to your function to enable set up of the hall. The Club's core function is surf lifesaving and the hall is predominantly used by voluntary members of the club to undertake surf life saving activities. Therefore the members are unavailable for assistance in carriage of items to the club hall and the hall mat be required to be used on patrol days for rescue activities as a priority prior to 6pm.

Finishing times are required to be complied with completely. Failure to leave the premises can result in police assistance being requested.

No responsibility is accepted for any personal items left in the club after your function. You should not assume free access will be provided to pick up furniture and equipment and arrangements should be made as to temporary storage.

You are invited to inspect the clubhouse on any weekend to see whether it suits your particular needs. Hall capacity is 100 persons.

Special Conditions Please note that smoking and the lighting of candles and incense is not permitted within the club premises.

The hall is not available for birthdays between 16-21 years of age due to licensing restrictions.

It is an offence to provide alcohol on our premises to people under the age of 18.

The hire of the hall includes the use of the downstairs hall and the toilets only. It does not include the use of the upstars hall.

Congregation out of the front of the club is discouraged and we ask that a responsible person discourages this for the entire night. The hire is for the hall and the neighbours deserve respect.

If the club caretaker or other deemed club representative is present, their directions should be adhered to at all times.

If Police are required to visit the club any request that they make is final and will be adhered to.

It is recommended that you register the nature of your party with the local Police so that they can take necessary precautions and implement appropriate risk management.

It is also recommended that you hire security staff if there is a risk of uninvited people entering the premises.

I sign acknowledging that I agree to the above terms and conditions and am aware that any breach of the above terms may result in the Tamarama SLSC management committee deciding to forfeit from me my security deposit and/or terminating my function on the spot or seeking reimbursement for damages.
